“I met Mary in a small meditation group that we attended together last year. I found her to be a warm, kind, loving and very intuitive person, and, although I had no idea what Reiki was, I decided to book a session with her. During the first treatment I was particularly conscious that my tummy was ‘grumbling & gurgling’ a lot! Despite this I felt very calm and completely safe for the whole session. I also felt much better at the end when I ‘apologised’ for my stomach, and Mary assured me that this was quite normal and was a good sign that everything is ‘as it should be’!! I thoroughly enjoyed the session and felt that it had been a ‘healing’ experience for me following the deaths of my mother and my elderly aunt at the end of last year.

During my second session I was completely relaxed and felt even more benefit than the first time. I had been experiencing stiffness in my neck which I suspected was due to doing quite a lot of knitting for a new baby in the family! I told Mary about this so that she could do extra ‘work’ in that area. I have to say that the stiffness has now completely gone (even though I am still knitting)!

"I went for my first Reiki session with a totally open mind, not quite knowing what to expect. My world is very much, if you see it, it is real! So, finding myself in a position where I did not seem to have control over my emotions, being very sad, angry, hurt etc after my husband left my children and I, I need to find anything that would make me feel a little better about myself, a little calmer, a little more peaceful.

After that one session, I was emotionally drained but clearer in my mind. I had a headache that evening but had the best night sleep in a very long time!

I then attended Reiki 1, again with a totally open mind. I listened and liked what I heard. Even better, I actually enjoyed what it was about. I felt an inner peace just practicing Reiki.

Your course was extremely well presented and you communicated very clearly what Reiki was about. How it could help not just the person learning Reiki, but for other persons and pets. No harm could ever be done, just positive energy into anything, living or not. You made us feel so very welcome and comfortable. The literature you provided was excellent. Again, clear, concise and well illustrated. You answered questions with confidence and knowledge and more importantly with patience!!
